Ipad 2, meh

So the Ipad 2 has been released but from what i have seen, there is nothing to get excited about. Sure its thinner, lighter and faster but they aren't big enough changes for me to feel like its worth the purchase. I think they should really be focusing on new additions such as usb ports. One great addition is the front facing camera to allow for facetime aswel as their updated ios which will help with faster web surfing which i am sure will be a major selling point. Steve jobs said that users will soon be able to purchase garageband and imovie for the ipad, so for all you creative types you may want to look at the new ipad. Another addition is that the ipad will now be available in 2 colours, black and white.

In my opinion the ipad is a great device because it is proven to be reliable and do what it does well but with so many new, more advanced tablets popping up into the market i doubt that these subtle changes to the new ipad will be enough to keep Apple as the king of the tablet fro another year.

So what is your opinion, are you going to grab one of these new ipads, if you already have an ipad will you upgrade and if not, is there any other tablets that catch your eye?

  1. Even if I could afford it I wouldn't buy it :P.

I have no use for a tablet to be honest.

  5. Meh. The iPads are just for people that have too much money. I mean really. An iPod Touch, and a Laptop (which many technologically savvy people already) then you don't need an iPad.

  7. I probably won't be buying a table ever, since i'm never going to need it. But if i were to buy one, i would probably look for an android tablet, instead.

  9. I don't see what value an iPad would add to my current needs; it seems redundant.

  12. The smart cover is fantastic. What makes apple products fantastic are the design and, above all the others manufactures, the SO.
